Engineered Structural Glass Fibre Shrouds

Telecommunication antennas can have a significant visual impact on the skyline of urban areas especially those within a heritage importance. The request was to design several shrouds fastened on a steel skeleton or existing structure, some of which mimics the building fabric such as chimney stacks and timber louvres. A lightweight GRP solution was proposed fastened to a steel skeleton.
